The Church in Weymouth

Dear brother Theo and the whole family, we stand with you in prayer, may the Lord comfort and strengthen you. We will all see him again soon, in glory. We are so thankful for the pattern of faith and the precious testimony we saw in your grandpa… May we too live such a life of service unto the Lord and His body, until He takes us. What an encouragement to know that he is now resting in the Lord’s presence, having completed the race, free from death anything from the old creation.

“I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith. Finally, there is laid up for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will give to me on that Day, and not to me only but also to all who have loved His appearing.” 2 Timothy 4:7‭-‬8

“Thy manger wakes the thought: I too am homeless; Thy cross strips earthly pleasures from my soul; Thy coming bids me seek a better country, For Thou Thyself art now my final goal.” (Hymn “Since long ago at Bethany we parted”, second stanza)
