I was fortunate enough to get one last stern look from Gong Gong recently. A very stern yet also very loving look. This was not planned, but it is perfectly depicted by the photo at his memorial. To make a short story short, I was throwing my daughter into the air. Now I do not throw my daughter into the air.

Even at his weakest physically, he was at his strongest spiritually. Gong Gong was a husband, a father, a teacher, a full time worker, and above all else, a good and faithful servant. Whatever the Lord gave him, he multiplied.

“His Lord said to him, ‘Well done, good and faithful servant; you have been faithful over a few things, I will make you ruler over many things. Enter into the joy of your Lord.’” Matthew 25:23
